Mystic Vibe was founded by L.A. native Ollie Elder, Jr. as one of his musical alter egos; along with his bands: Base Six (Smooth Jazz) and The Groove Alliance (Top 40, Old School). and As the Reggae arm of OEJ Productions Mystic Vibe delivers a sensual sexy vibe! Influences include: Nesta Robert "Bob" Marley, Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Burining Spear, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespere, Michael Rose, Gregory Isaacs, Barry Gordy, Quincy Jones, James Brown, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Sly Stone, And the rest of the too many to name "Bad Ass M@!$ F@!%" who ever played Reggae, Blues, R&B, Funk, Jazz or any other style on a bass, guitar, keyboard, drum or any other musical instrument!! A Pato Banton concert is an event not to be missed and an experience not to be forgotten. Positive Vibrations abound with a beat to keep you on your dancing feet, while Pato delivers a message that is food for the mind and soul. Many have considered his charismatic performance as live theatre where no show is alike and audience members become participants in the experience. Pato dialogues with the crowd on a range of topics including current day events and spiritual freedom while keeping the vibes upbeat and fun! The direction of the concert is totally based on the feedback Pato receives from the audience as there is no fixed set list. Many have said that the positivity generated from the stage has changed their lives forever. |

We're a trio that keeps it real! Three of the most seasoned and experienced musicians in the O.C./L.A. area have formed a Reggae, Rock and Soul cover band. We are: Russ Catanzaro (Bass/Vocals) Tim Trakh (Guitar/Vocals) Rich Smith (Drums/Vocals) We perform all over Orange, L.A., Riverside and San Diego Counties, mixing a combination of the best in Classic and Modern Rock, Reggae, Soul, R&B, and Dance during our sets. Our song list is VERY EXTENSIVE! Having just the right tunes for the proper occasion is an absolute must! Our demo, a six song sampler, is so much better than anything we've recorded before. What happens when two rock and roll castaways from Southern California are shipwrecked on an uncharted island with nothing to entertain themselves but some instruments that happened to wash ashore? That's the idea behind Three Hour Tour. Gregg Paxton plays a steel drum from somewhere in the Caribbean, while Thom Brennan strums a ukulele from somewhere in the South Pacific. It doesn't matter that the two instruments are from different cultures when they happen to sound so great together! Everyone from Harry Belafonte and Bob Marley to The Beatles and Elvis Costello are represented in their sound. |

Upstream, started in 1989 in the Twin Islands of Trinidad and Tobago and have been performing in the U.S. for over 14 years. Their talent, creativity and vision are astounding.
